Given that Teen Wolf Season 1 started filming in the [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teen_Wolf_(2011_TV_series)#cite_ref-MTVpress_25-0|last quarter of 2010]], they had to have been using the 2010 model year Camaro which was sold in 2009-2010. It couldn't have been an earlier model as the 2009-2010 Camaro was the first of the [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chevrolet_Camaro_(fifth_generation)|fifth generation Camaros]] and the 2011 model year was likely released too late to be used in Season 1.
 Technically they could have used a 2011 model later, but there would be no real need to switch.
