Derek's Camaro was replaced with a silver FJ Cruiser due to a marketing deal with Toyota to help fund the show.
Derek may or may not still own the Camaro given that he is wealthy enough to own both without needing to trade one in for the other. However, the 2010 Camaro does not appear on screen after Season 2

Black sixth generation Camaro, from the 2016 or 2017 model year.
Fun fact: the fifth generation Camaro Derek was using previously was based on GM's Zeta platform. For the sixth generation Camaro, which Derek is using at the end of the series, GM switched to using their Alpha platform.
