Lydia Martin+Season 4

The Dark Moon

Lydia and Stiles have apparently hatched the plan that they're using to get Derek back, although Lydia thinks it's their worst plan yet. She and Stiles wander around a Mexican town until they finally find the club they're looking for. Lydia attempts to gain entry just by asking in Spanish, but the guards won't let them by. Stiles takes out a card with a skull instead, and this lets them pass. They go to the bar and are quickly met by Severo, who offers them drinks on the house. Lydia informs him that they aren't there for drinks and drops one of his marked shell casings into the shot. He then takes them upstairs to talk to Araya. Lydia tells her that they're there for Derek Hale. She's heard they can be bought and offers them $50k for Derek. Araya is not impressed. She asks why they would come for someone like Derek, and Stiles replies that they don't like to lose. Araya thinks they were foolish for coming alone, but Stiles reveals that they didn't. Scott tells Stiles over the hunters' radio to take $10k off the table. Lydia suggests strongly that Araya take the deal. Instead, Araya knocks the rest of the pack out and takes Lydia outside for tea. She questions her about a banshee's abilities. Lydia plays dumb, telling her almost nothing and pretending like she doesn't know how her powers work. Araya asks her which one of the two guards next to them is going to die soon. Lydia claims not to know, but when Araya taps her finger on a knife blade, Lydia gets a sense of who it will be just before Araya throws the knife. She screams as the man dies.

Lydia is taken back inside and chained up next to Scott. If Kira doesn't electrocute Scott, Severo will electrocute Lydia. There isn't much for her to do other than watch. When they're finally released, Lydia helps explain who Kate Argent is to Malia and Kira. She says she's Allison's aunt and a total sociopath. After the Jeep breaks down, Lydia stays with Stiles to help him fix it. Mostly she's there to hold the flashlight and offer moral support. They snipe at one another, but it keeps them both calm. After Malia runs off to find their stalker, Lydia forces Stiles to concentrate on the Jeep- rather than go after her.
